Hi guys! I am Inshira Peregrino Dartey, I am 18 years old and I’m a second year student at The Ohio State University. GO BUCKS!! I was raised in Ghana by my loving parents alongside my brother until my freshman year of high school when I moved to Ohio to attend Centennial High...GO STARS!! I enjoy playing, watching, reading and talking about sports (I’m what you call a sports fanatic).Starting the books and boots project was our way of bridging the gap between Ghana and the rest of the world by empowering the youth of Ghana.

Adom Peregrino Dartey: Project Coordinator
Hi there! I am Adom Peregrino Dartey, I am 16 years old and I'm a junior at Worthington Christian Upper School. I was born and raised in Ghana by my parents and only moved to Ohio a few years ago. In my spare time I like reading, sleeping, playing video games, cooking, drawing, painting and a little bit of singing and dancing. I also enjoy playing basketball and hanging out with friends and family. My brother and I decided to start this project to give back to the community that helped raise us to become the men we are today.
